Daihatsu Infinearth Mfg.Co. Reports Revenue Drop but Higher Operating Profit in FY2026

TOKYO, May 19 (Pulse News Wire) – Daihatsu Infinearth Mfg.co.,ltd. (6023.T) reported a revenue decline of 0.8% to ¥90.00 billion for the fiscal year ended March 2026 compared to the previous year.

Despite the drop, operating profit increased slightly by 5.0% to ¥208 million. Net income rose 3.6% to ¥6 billion, while earnings per share climbed 28.7% to ¥232.90. The company attributed the improved profitability to higher maintenance services and favorable exchange rates, which offset rising fixed costs. Shipbuilding orders surged significantly due to the completion of its new factory in Himeji, leading to a substantial increase in backlog orders.

Looking ahead, Daihatsu Infinearth expects continued growth driven by sales of larger engines and expansion of service offerings. For the fiscal year ending March 2027, the firm forecasts a revenue increase, primarily fueled by anticipated sales of large engine units. However, it also anticipates reduced maintenance revenues and escalating fixed expenses. The company remains committed to long-term goals, including net-zero emissions contributions through next-generation fuel technologies and expanded service solutions.
