Cyberdyne Amends SIP Program Contract Budget Again

– Cyberdyne,inc. (7779.T) announced changes to the budget for its Strategic Innovation Creation Program (SIP) contract related to the Smart Mobility Platform Construction project.

Initially disclosed on December 4, 2024, the company entered into a research and development contract with the National Research and Development Agency New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). A previous adjustment was reported on March 26, 2026. Now, due to another overall budget revision, the company has concluded a revised contract.

The updated contract details show: - Original Estimated Total Research and Development Fees (): ¥115 million - Revised Estimated Total Research and Development Fees (): ¥194 million The contract duration remains unchanged from October 9, 2024, to March 31, 2028. Looking ahead, revenue generated through the contracted research and development activities will be determined post-audit by NEDO at the end of each fiscal year. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company anticipates receiving ¥50 million.
