Cuorips Ups Full-Year Forecast Due to Rehaart Pricing Approval
TOKYO, Jul 28 (Pulse News Wire) – Cuorips Inc. (4894.T) revised upward its full-year forecast for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, due to the approval of pricing for its Rehaart product by the Central Social Insurance Medical Council on July 22.
Previously, the company had refrained from disclosing sales forecasts for the fiscal year due to uncertainty around Rehaart's drug price. With the recent approval, Cuorips now projects revenue of ¥540 million, operating profit of -¥1.030 billion, ordinary profit of -¥580 million, and net income attributable to shareholders of -¥570 million per share. These figures represent increases of ¥400 million, ¥820 million, ¥820 million, and respectively compared to previous estimates.
The improved outlook reflects anticipated sales from Rehaart beginning in September 2026, along with contributions from CDMO services. However, the bulk of expected revenues are projected to occur in the latter half of the fiscal year. Additionally, the inclusion of potential government grants related to regenerative cell therapy manufacturing equipment is expected to further reduce losses.
These projections are based on currently available information and subject to various factors that could impact actual results.
