C.S. Lumber CO. Appoints New Auditor for Upcoming Shareholders Meeting

TOKYO, Jul 15 (Pulse News Wire) – C.s. Lumber Co.,inc (7808.T) announced today that at the board meeting held, it resolved to appoint new certified public accountants effective August 26, 2026.

The resolution was also approved at the same day's audit committee meeting, which will propose the appointment of the new auditors at the upcoming 44th Annual General Meeting scheduled for August 26, 2026. The new auditor, Orient Kansa Houjin, located at Tokyo, Chiyoda Ku Kanda Suruga Dai Ni Choume 11-16, will replace the incumbent auditor, Chiba Daiichi Audit Corporation, based at Chiba, Chiba Shi Chuuou Ku Sakaechou 42-11, Japan Enterprise Building, 3rd floor. The decision was made due to the need for fresh perspectives on auditing and the comprehensive assessment of Orient Kansa Houjin's expertise, independence, quality control systems, and fee levels. Chiba Daiichi Audit Corporation’s term ends upon the conclusion of the 44th Annual General Meeting on August 26, 2026.

Over the years, Chiba Daiichi Audit Corporation has continuously provided auditing services since the preparation stage prior to C.s. Lumber Co.,inc's listing. However, the company believes that a new perspective is necessary for future audits, leading to the selection of Orient Kansa Houjin. Both Chiba Daiichi Audit Corporation and the audit committee agree with the decision.

Chiba Daiichi Audit Corporation did not express any particular opinions against the move.
