Colopl Reports Second Quarter Loss Amid Revenue Decline
TOKYO, May 07 (Pulse News Wire) – Colopl,inc. (3668.T) reported a lower net profit of ¥825 million for the six months ended March 31, 2026, compared to a profit of ¥177 million in the same period last year.
Revenue was ¥10.09 billion from ¥10.09 billion, driven by declines in its entertainment and investment businesses. In the entertainment sector, revenue dropped to ¥9.820 billion due to reduced sales from existing titles despite efforts to enhance user engagement through service improvements. Operating income was ¥655 million, up from a loss of ¥167 million previously.
For the investment division, revenue decreased to ¥268 million amid significant losses from investments and asset impairments, leading to an lower operating profit of ¥123 million against a gain of ¥167 million in the prior year.
