Birdman forms tie-up with GAKUSEI RUNWAY for student fashion events

TOKYO, Aug 05 (Pulse News Wire) – Birdman Inc. (7063.T) resolved at its board meeting on August 05 to enter into a business partnership with GAKUSEI RUNWAY and launch a new student fashion event franchise called "Student Runway Elite Event." Under the agreement, Birdman will operate the event in the Kanagawa area, leveraging GAKUSEI RUNWAY's expertise and systems to enhance its marketing solutions for Z-generation clients.

For the fiscal year ending June 2027, Birdman expects to spend a total of ¥63.5 million on this initiative, including initial fees and operational costs. Specifically, the upfront fee is ¥20 million, while per-event operating expenses are estimated at ¥32.5 million. GAKUSEI RUNWAY, founded on October 01, 2025, specializes in fashion events and casting services.

It holds a capital of ¥3 million, with major shareholders being Nakamura Minori with a stake of 51% and Nakamura Yasuyuki with 49%. The inaugural Student Runway Elite Event in Kanagawa is scheduled for August 2026, with the first event planned for January 2027. The impact on Birdman’s fiscal 2027 performance remains under assessment.
