Birdman Secures Funding Through Land Lease Deals With Global Cloud Estate

TOKYO, Jul 15 (Pulse News Wire) – Birdman Inc. (7063.T) announced that it has concluded land lease agreements with Global Cloud Estate Co., Ltd.

To secure funding for two battery storage projects in Tottori Prefecture's Sakaihama City and Yamaguchi Prefecture's Shimonoseki City. The agreements, finalized on July 15, 2026, involve leasing the company’s land to Global Cloud Estate in exchange for a guarantee deposit totaling ¥450 million and ¥450 million respectively. Under the terms of the contracts, which run from October 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027, Birdman will lease its land to Global Cloud Estate, utilizing the deposits as funds for acquiring the properties.

The move is part of Birdman's strategy to establish a funding cycle through development, crowdfunding via Global Cloud Estate's CAMEL platform, construction, refinancing, and long-term operation. The company expects these deals to strengthen its financing base and facilitate the implementation of its battery storage projects without impacting ongoing operations. Any potential effects on the fiscal year ending June 2027 will be disclosed promptly once assessed.
