– Asterisk Inc. (6522.T) announced the deployment of its next-generation RFID solution, 'AsReader BOX-Type,' at the flagship store of apparel brand coca operated by adapt retailing.

The deal marks a significant step towards expanding sales and revenue generation through RFID technology. Adapt retailing's flagship store, located in Tokyo Plaza, features over 100 stores nationwide and adopts Asterisk’s AsReader BOX-Type to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. This initiative aims to validate the effectiveness of RFID technology in reducing checkout wait times, improving staff workload management, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

The product's flexibility and high customization capabilities make it suitable for various retail environments, paving the way for future self-checkout systems. Through this collaboration, Asterisk seeks to demonstrate the potential of RFID solutions in driving digital transformation within retail operations.
