AHC Group Launches Welfare Real Estate Development Business

TOKYO, Jul 14 (Pulse News Wire) – AHC Group Inc. (7083.T) announced today that its board of directors has approved the launch of a new welfare real estate development business aimed at addressing the shortage of suitable facilities for welfare services.

The initiative leverages the company's extensive experience in operating welfare facilities, particularly group homes for people with disabilities. With 132 existing facilities nationwide, including 38 group home sites with 305 rooms, AHC Group plans to develop land and buildings tailored for welfare purposes and sell them to operators and investors aligned with their mission. Initial investments will focus on four properties totaling approximately ¥82 million acres, utilizing internal funds for flexible financing strategies moving forward.

The new venture is expected to diversify revenue streams and enhance capital efficiency through asset-light management. While the immediate impact on fiscal performance is anticipated to be minor, the company believes this strategic move will significantly contribute to long-term growth and profitability.
