Y'S Table corp reports Q2 FY2026 revenue, profit below plan
TOKYO, Apr 22 (Pulse News Wire) – Y's Table Corporation (2798.T) reported Q2 FY2026 revenue of ¥13.05 billion, slightly above plan but operating profit and ordinary profit fell short of forecasts due to higher costs and lower sales benefits. Net profit attributable to parent shareholders was also below expectations, impacted by impairment losses of ¥80 million and negative adjustments of ¥55 million.
The company saw strong performance in its casual restaurant division, with existing store sales up compared to last year. However, high-end dining operations faced challenges, particularly from reduced inbound tourism demand and slower recovery at large stores like XEX WEST.
Looking ahead, Y’s table expects FY2027 revenue growth driven by price increases and productivity improvements across its segments. The firm plans five new store openings and added the tempura chain Tenmatsu Hotel to its portfolio through acquisition.
