Yokohama Maruuo Adds Mid-Year Shareholder Benefits Program

TOKYO, Aug 06 (Pulse News Wire) – Yokohama Maruuo CO.,LTD. (8045.T) announced changes to its shareholder benefits program, introducing a mid-year benefit scheme alongside existing end-of-year offerings.

The revised program aims to enhance stock attractiveness and deepen investor understanding of the company's long-term vision. Under the updated plan, shareholders holding between 100 and 500 shares will now receive a card worth ¥1,000 points annually in March, while those holding 500 or more shares will get a card worth ¥3,000 points plus additional items valued at ¥5,000 points. A new mid-year benefit option allows shareholders with 300 to 500 shares to choose either a product worth ¥10,000 points or a facility voucher from the company’s network, available exclusively through online selection via a QR code.

Shareholders must select their preferred mid-year benefit by December, with delivery scheduled for March-April of the following year. End-of-year benefits will continue to be sent out in June along with the annual general meeting notification. The company expects these enhancements to boost stock recognition and liquidity.
