Yokogawa Electric Buys Back Shares Worth Over 1 Billion in July

– Yokogawa Electric Corporation (6841.T) announced the repurchase of its own shares worth a total of ¥1.810 billion during the period from July 01 to July 31, 2026, based on resolutions made at a board meeting held on May 07, 2026. The repurchases were conducted through open-market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

According to the company’s filings, the total number of shares repurchased was 324,400. The resolution approved the purchase of up to 9,000,000 ordinary shares, representing 3.5% of the outstanding shares excluding treasury stock.

The total amount allocated for the repurchase was capped at ¥30.00 billion. As of July 31, 2026, Yokogawa Electric had cumulatively repurchased a total of 4,385,100 shares, spending ¥22.00 billion on the acquisitions since the approval of the buyback program.

The company plans to continue executing the buyback plan until September 30, 2026.
