Yodoko Sells Stake in Subsidiary YSS
TOKYO, Jun 26 (Pulse News Wire) – Yodoko,ltd. (5451.T) announced today that it has decided to sell part of its stake in subsidiary YSS (Hefei) High-tech Steel Plate Co., Ltd.
Additionally, another subsidiary, Sysco Holdings Co., Ltd., also agreed to sell its entire stake in YSS during their board meeting held . Established in 2011, YSS specializes in manufacturing and selling galvanized steel sheets and coated steel products in China. Due to recent changes in the business environment, Yodoko believes that reallocating resources overseas will enhance its corporate value. Following discussions with potential buyers since May 11, 2026, Yodoko finalized the sale agreement with Hebei Xinjin Wanli New Material Science & Technology Co., Ltd. and Sysco Holdings Co., Ltd. .
Under the deal, Yodoko will transfer a portion of its shares valued at 232,750,000 yuan, while Sysco Holdings will transfer its remaining shares. Post-sale, Yodoko's shareholding percentage will decrease from 40.6% to 25%, and Sysco Holdings' holding will drop entirely. The transaction is expected to be completed in early August 2026. This divestiture will result in YSS being delisted from Yodoko’s consolidated subsidiaries. As previously disclosed on May 11, 2026, Yodoko anticipates recognizing gains from the disposal of related-party equity interests in its fiscal year ending March 2027, which have been incorporated into its earnings forecast.
