Wellnet CORP Reports Lower Q3 Profits Amid Sluggish Sales; Maintains Dividend Forecast
TOKYO, Apr 30 (Pulse News Wire) – WELLNET CORPORATION (2428.T) reported lower profits for the fiscal third quarter ending March 31, 2026, compared to the same period last year due to sluggish sales performance. Revenue fell to 7.6 billion yen from 8.3 billion yen, while operating profit declined to 1.1 billion yen from 1.3 billion yen.
Net income dropped to 835 million yen from 913 million yen. Despite the downward revision of its annual forecast, the company maintained its dividend payout plan. It expects to distribute ¥29.50 per share for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, unchanged from previous guidance.
WELLNET attributed the revenue shortfall to slower-than-expected contract signings and reduced transaction volumes with major clients. However, the firm remains committed to expanding high-margin services and investing in future growth initiatives. The company's long-term strategic direction remains unchanged despite the revised outlook.
