UOKI Acquires Fishkin's Businesses for 66 million
TOKYO, Jul 16 (Pulse News Wire) – Uoki CO.,LTD. (2683.T) announced today that its non-consolidated subsidiary, Uoya Corp., has decided to acquire certain businesses operated by Fishkin Corporation.
The acquisition includes two retail stores—“FOOD & TIME ISETAN YOKOHAMA” and “Kobe Hankyu”—and their wholesale operations. The transaction, which was approved during a board meeting held , aims to diversify the group’s portfolio and secure stable revenue streams. The acquired businesses had a revenue of ¥933 million in the fiscal year ending May 2025. The purchase price is set at ¥66 million, payable in cash.
Fishkin Corporation operates fresh fish and processed seafood sales, sushi takeout shops, and wholesale services. UOKI plans to leverage its expertise in fisheries and food service to enhance regional water resource utilization and reduce food waste while promoting innovative culinary offerings. The deal is scheduled to close on August 1, 2026. Further details on the asset and liability specifics of the acquired businesses are currently being finalized and will be disclosed promptly upon completion.
