TOKYO, Jul 28 (Pulse News Wire) – Unbanked Inc. (8746.T) announced that trading of its cryptocurrency Kinka, which is linked to gold prices, will cease on the overseas trading platform BitMart due to the closure of BitMart's operations.
Effective immediately, new listings, deposits, and orders will be phased out starting July 26, 2026, at 1:30 UTC. All trading services, including spot and futures transactions, will end on August 26, 2026, at 1:00 UTC. Official cessation of the platform’s operation is scheduled for January 31, 2027, at 15:59 UTC.
Regarding the impact on future performance, Unbanked noted that while Kinka sales are reported within the gold segment, their share of total revenue for the fiscal year ending March 2026 was less than 0.1% of ¥8.043 billion. Therefore, the company anticipates minimal effects on overall earnings. However, should circumstances warrant further disclosure, Unbanked will promptly inform stakeholders.
