Tsukamoto Corporation APPOINTS NEW INDEPENDENT COMMITTEE MEMBER

TOKYO, Jun 25 (Pulse News Wire) – Tsukamoto Corporation CO.,LTD. (8025.T) announced changes to its independent committee members based on the large-scale share purchase behavior policy approved at its 105th ordinary shareholders' meeting held on June 26, 2024.

At the board meeting, the company decided to appoint Yoshida Minori as a new member of the independent committee while retiring Nishimichi Shinji. Yoshida Minori was appointed as a public accountant in March 1992 and established Yoshida Certified Public Accountants Office in January 2012, which he continues to lead. He also served as a permanent director at the National University Corporation Tokyo University since September 2020 and as a part-time director at the Independent Administrative Institution Labor Policy Research and Training Institute since July 2022.

Additionally, Yoshida joined School Corporation Komazawa University as a permanent director in September 2024, and became a part-time director at School Corporation Kyowa Gakuen in October 2024 and at Rootzu Education Promotion Foundation Musashi Gakuen in June 2025. He assumed his role as a director at Tsukamoto Corporation in June 2026. Following this appointment, the composition of the independent committee now includes Makiyama Hidehito, Akutsu Masashi, Nakanoyama Ikue, Kawai Nobuyuki, and Yoshida Minori, all serving as outside directors or auditors.

There are no special interests between the committee members and the company.
