Tsubakimoto Chain Buys Back Shares for 989.2 million
TOKYO, Aug 03 (Pulse News Wire) – TSUBAKIMOTO CHAIN CO. (6371.T) announced that it completed the repurchase of 377,000 shares during the period from July 1 to July 31, 2026, based on a resolution made at the board meeting held on May 13, 2026.
The total cost of the repurchase was ¥989.2 million. The repurchase was conducted through open-market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
According to the resolution, the company had set an upper limit of 5,000,000 shares, representing 4.8% of the outstanding shares excluding treasury stocks, with a total value cap of ¥10.00 billion. The repurchase period was originally scheduled to run from June 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
As of July 31, 2026, the company had acquired a total of 2,776,000 shares with a total expenditure of ¥7.193 billion.
