TOYO Corp Decides Share Buyback and Cancellation
TOKYO, Aug 05 (Pulse News Wire) – TOYO Corporation (8151.T) decided on share buybacks and cancellations through a resolution at today's board meeting. The actions aim to enhance capital efficiency and strengthen shareholder returns while reducing future dilution concerns and improving transparency in capital policy.
For the buyback, up to 1,100,000 shares (representing 5.09% of outstanding shares excluding treasury stock) will be acquired at a total cost of up to ¥1.500 billion. The buyback period runs from August 06, 2026, to December 30, 2026. The method will involve open-market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Regarding cancellation, 4,000,000 shares (comprising 15.33% of pre-cancellation outstanding shares) will be canceled, resulting in a post-cancellation outstanding share count of 22,085,000. The cancellation is scheduled for September 18, 2026. As of June 30, 2026, the company held 4,476,217 treasury shares out of a total of 26,085,000 outstanding shares, with 21,608,783 being non-treasury shares.
