TONE Announces Effective Board Evaluation Results

TOKYO, Jul 10 (Pulse News Wire) – Tone CO.,LTD. (5967.T) has conducted an evaluation of the effectiveness of its board of directors based on the Corporate Governance Code for the fiscal year ending May 2026.

The evaluation covered seven directors, including four internal and three external members. A questionnaire was distributed, and the results were analyzed by a committee consisting of three independent outside directors. The assessment included 20 key areas such as board composition, agenda items, operations, training, and discussions. Free comments and stage evaluations were also collected.

The findings confirmed that the board functions effectively across all evaluated categories. Additionally, the Nomination and Remuneration Advisory Committee reviewed succession plans for executive officers and made appropriate recommendations to the board. Based on the evaluation outcomes, Tone CO.,LTD. will enhance long-term strategic discussions and further develop director and audit committee member training programs.
