Tomony Holdings to Offer Restricted Shares to Employees on Oct 30
TOKYO, Aug 07 (Pulse News Wire) – Tomony Holdings,inc. (8600.T) announced plans to offer restricted shares to employees through its Employee Shareholding Association on October 30, 2026.
The company aims to enhance employee welfare and promote long-term growth and corporate value. Up to 136,850 ordinary shares will be distributed at a price of ¥1,031 per share, with a total potential value of ¥141.1 million. Under the program, eligible employees will receive restricted shares based on predefined patterns: up to 408 employees could get 100 shares each, up to 1,754 employees could get 50 shares each, and up to 334 employees could receive 25 shares each. The distribution will be subject to approval by the association members and agreement from participating employees.
The restricted shares come with a holding period until May 31, 2029, during which employees cannot sell or transfer their holdings. Upon completion of the restriction period, shares will be released back to the employees' personal accounts. In case of early termination due to retirement or other valid reasons, shares will be liquidated accordingly. This initiative is expected to dilute existing shareholders by up to 0.07% based on the maximum issuance scenario, considering the outstanding shares as of March 31, 2026.
