TOKYO, Jul 23 (Pulse News Wire) – Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings,incorporated (9501.T) received a payment of ¥5.800 billion from the Nuclear Damage Compensation and Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation based on a special business plan approved on March 31, 2026. This marks the 171st funding delivery since the company began receiving compensation payments totaling ¥11.55 trillion previously.

The company anticipates paying more in damages by August 2026 than the combined total of previous payments, necessitating this additional request for funds.
