Yamanashi Chuo Bank Ups Guidance for FY2027 Goals

– The Yamanashi Chuo Bank, ltd. (8360.T) revised upward its quantitative targets outlined in its mid-term management plan “Value Creation Company ~ 1st Stage” during a board meeting held today, May 14.

The bank decided to raise its key performance indicators for fiscal year 2027. Specifically, the revised goals are: - Linked return on equity (ROE) increased from 5% or more to 5.8% or more. - Net income attributable to parent company shareholders raised from ¥10.00 billion or more to ¥14.00 billion or more. - Operating expense ratio (OHR) decreased from 65% or less to 58% or less.

- Human capital return on investment (ROI) improved from 0.5 times to 0.8 times. The adjustments reflect the successful progress of strategic initiatives within the mid-term plan and considerations of policy interest rate hikes not anticipated at the time of plan formulation. Additionally, the bank plans to review its long-term vision, aiming to achieve its desired state three years ahead of schedule, targeting a higher ROE of 10% or more. This revision underscores the bank's commitment to enhancing profitability and efficiency amidst evolving economic conditions.
