T.Hasegawa Reports Second Quarter Revenue Growth Amid Currency Fluctuations
TOKYO, May 21 (Pulse News Wire) – T.hasegawa CO.,LTD. (4958.T) reported a revenue increase of 4.9% for the fiscal year ending September 2026's second quarter, compared to the same period last year.
Operating profit rose by 0.2% while net profit increased by 390 million yen to 3,749 million yen. Despite positive trends in North America and Asia, China saw a decline in profitability despite revenue growth. The company attributed this partly to exchange rate impacts and plans to boost pipeline activities to meet its annual targets.
Additionally, the firm is advancing construction of a new factory in China and setting up powder flavoring equipment in Suzhou, aiming for operational readiness by September 2027. Looking ahead, T.Hasegawa expects to exceed its forecast due to strong performance in the second quarter. The company remains committed to expanding its operations through strategic investments and enhanced collaboration across sales, research, and marketing functions globally.
