Tamura to Move Headquarters and Amend Articles of Incorporation

– Tamura Corporation (6768.T) announced today that its board of directors has resolved to move its headquarters and amend certain articles of incorporation, subject to approval at its upcoming annual shareholders' meeting scheduled for June 25, 2026. The relocation is part of the company's efforts to build a growth foundation for the next century and improve capital efficiency while enhancing employee engagement.

The new headquarters location is planned for East Ikebukuro in Tokyo. The move is expected to take place in May 2027 and aims to optimize office functions, enhance accessibility, and create a more conducive work environment. This initiative aligns with the company’s 14th medium-term management plan, “One TAMURA for Next 100,” which focuses on sustainable growth and operational excellence.

The proposed changes to the articles of incorporation involve updating Article 3, which specifies the head office location, to reflect the new address in Tokyo’s Toshima Ward. The amendments will come into effect upon the resolution of the board of directors prior to the 104th regular general meeting of shareholders in 2027. The impact of this decision on the consolidated performance for the fiscal year ending March 2027 has already been incorporated into the previously disclosed forecast.
