Takemoto Yohki Posts Q2 Revenue of 7.7 Billion, Up 14%

TOKYO, Jul 31 (Pulse News Wire) – Takemoto Yohki CO.,LTD. (4248.T) reported a consolidated revenue of ¥7.7 billion for the quarter ending June 30, marking a 14% increase compared to the same period last year.

Operating profit stood at ¥600 million, up 28%, while EBITDA reached ¥1.1 billion, reflecting a 27% growth. Sales of recyclable packaging products contributed significantly, reaching ¥1 billion, a 25% rise year-over-year. In Japan, sales increased by 45% to ¥5.69 billion, driven by higher demand for sustainable packaging solutions.

However, China faced challenges due to rising raw material costs, leading to a decline in operating profits despite a modest 25% revenue increase. Other regions saw robust performance, contributing to overall positive results. The company also announced plans to maintain a dividend payout ratio of 80% based on stable shareholder returns, with a projected annual dividend per share of ¥100 for fiscal year 2026.
