Tadano Reports Second Quarter Revenue Boosted by Acquisitions

– Tadano Ltd. (6395.T) reported a revenue increase of 14.2% to ¥142 billion for the six months ending June 30, 2026, driven primarily by acquisitions.

Operating profit rose to ¥14.88 billion, up ¥6.707 billion compared to the same period last year due to increased sales and tax refunds in the United States. Net income attributable to parent shareholders reached ¥10.73 billion, marking a significant improvement from the previous year's figure of ¥5.74 billion. The company attributed the growth to the acquisition effects of Tadano Infrastructure Solutions (TIS) and Manitex International. Additionally, the resolution of provisional accounting treatments related to the acquisitions led to adjustments in prior-year figures.

Despite positive factors such as tax refunds and exchange rate impacts, uncertainties surrounding the Middle East situation prompted Tadano to maintain its initial forecast for the fiscal year. In regional performance, North America saw a notable increase in sales while the Middle East experienced a decline due to geopolitical tensions. Sales in Europe showed signs of recovery but remained challenging in key markets. For the remainder of the fiscal year, Tadano expects to operate under revised exchange rates of ¥140 per US dollar and ¥150 per euro, effective July onwards.

The company’s outlook remains unchanged despite ongoing uncertainties.
