Susmed Announces Third Quarter Revenue and Pipeline Progress

TOKYO, May 08 (Pulse News Wire) – Susmed,inc. (4263.T) reported third quarter revenue of ¥--¥299 million, driven by milestone revenues and growth in its digital therapeutics (DTx) platform.

Operating expenses remained stable, resulting in an lower operating profit of ¥345 million. Key initiatives included the launch of a sleep disorder treatment app, which received manufacturing and sales approval changes, and the completion of a reimbursement application.

SUSMED also advanced development of SMD106 for premenstrual syndrome and dysphoric disorder, achieving milestones and receiving ¥100 million in milestone payments. In addition, the company highlighted potential market opportunities for its DTx products, estimating a target market size of up to ¥3.500 billion people for its insomnia treatment app.

SUSMED's strategic focus includes expanding into areas such as cancer patient exercise therapy and kidney rehabilitation, targeting markets valued at up to ¥61.50 billion points per session.
