St.Cousair loses controlling shareholder status after stock donation

– St.cousair CO.,LTD. (2937.T) announced that its former chairman, Ryuzaemon Kujo, who was also a significant shareholder, ceased to hold either controlling or major shareholder status effective August 6, 2026.

Kujo had transferred part of his holdings to the Sanquer Foundation, a public interest foundation headed by his sister, Myumi Kujo. As a result, he no longer meets the criteria for being considered a major or controlling shareholder outside of the parent company.

Prior to the transfer, Kujo held 1,024,000 shares directly and another 1,280,000 shares through consolidation, totaling 2,304,000 shares, which placed him as the second-largest shareholder based on the number of shares held as of March 31, 2026. Post-transfer, Kujo's direct shareholding stands at 1,024,000 shares, but due to losing controlling shareholder status, the consolidated figure is not disclosed.

This change does not impact the company’s operational structure or anticipated performance metrics.
