Sockets Wins Full Victory in Copyright Lawsuit

TOKYO, May 28 (Pulse News Wire) – Sockets Inc. (3634.T) announced today that it has won a comprehensive victory in a copyright lawsuit filed against it by Sink Power Co.

The case, which was initiated on June 30, 2021, involved a dispute over its concurrent lyric generation system. In a ruling handed down yesterday by the Tokyo District Court (Case Number: Reiwa 2 (Wa) No. 32989), the court dismissed Sink Power's request for injunction and deletion of data related to the disputed lyrics.

All other claims made by Sink Power were also rejected, meaning none of its requests were granted. This decision upholds Sockets Inc.'s previous stance on the matter. The company remains committed to addressing the issue diligently and sincerely going forward.
