Socionext Announces Board Candidates for Annual Meeting

TOKYO, May 19 (Pulse News Wire) – Socionext Inc. (6526.T) announced today that its board meeting held on May 19 determined the candidates for directors to be proposed at the upcoming 12th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders scheduled for June 25.

The candidates include: - Fuitzuka Masaharu (reappointed) as Chairman and CEO - Yoshida Hisatoshi (reappointed) as President and COO - Yasuyuki (reappointed) as Director and EVP and CFO - Suzuki Masatoshi (reappointed) as Senior Independent Outside Director - Kasano Sachiko (reappointed) as Independent Outside Director - Nishihata Kazuhisa (reappointed) as Independent Outside Director Additionally, Kawashima Shigeo will be newly appointed as an independent outside director and auditor. Akimoto Tsuyoshi, currently serving as an independent outside director and auditor, will retire upon the conclusion of the shareholders' meeting on June 25.

He will also be nominated as a candidate for the replacement auditor position.
