TOKYO, Jul 27 (Pulse News Wire) – SHINKO Inc. (7120.T) announced the passing of its president, Murakami Yoshihito, who died on July 26, 2026.

Murakami joined SHINKO in April 1986 and held various leadership positions throughout his career, including roles as branch manager in Mito, Nagoya, and Sapporo, and executive officer overseeing corporate planning. In June 2023, he was appointed as a director and executive officer responsible for corporate planning, and became the company's president in April 2026.

In light of his death, the company stated that it plans to appoint a successor for the position of president and will announce the decision once finalized. The departure does not affect the legal requirement for the number of directors, which remains compliant despite the reduction by one member.
