Shibusawa Logistics Reports Revenue Growth but Lower Profits in Fiscal Year 2026

TOKYO, May 11 (Pulse News Wire) – Shibusawa Logistics Corporation (9304.T) reported revenue growth of 1.12% to ¥79.74 billion for the fiscal year ended March 2026. However, operating profit declined by 570 million yen compared to the previous year due to increased operational costs and fixed expenses.

Despite these challenges, net income improved to 63 billion yen, driven by gains from the sale of policy-held securities. In its segments, the transportation division saw a significant increase in revenue, while real estate operations experienced a slight decline.

The company attributed the strong performance in logistics to higher demand for beverage handling and expansion in multi-product small-volume logistics services. Looking ahead, Shibusawa expects continued growth in its 3PL business and plans to enhance efficiency through automation and workforce optimization.

Additionally, the company aims to strengthen its international logistics base through strategic acquisitions and investments.
