TOKYO, May 15 (Pulse News Wire) – Senkon Logistics Co.,ltd (9051.T) revised its fiscal year 2026 forecast due to higher revenue but lower profits compared to previous estimates. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, the company reported operating revenue of ¥19.92 billion, exceeding the previously estimated ¥19.10 billion.
However, operating profit fell short of expectations, coming in at ¥569 million against the earlier projection of ¥600 million. Similarly, ordinary profit was ¥556 million, down from the prior estimate of ¥58 million0 million yen. Net income attributable to parent shareholders dropped significantly to ¥167 million, a decrease of 42.4% from the projected ¥70 million.
The discrepancy stems from stronger-than-expected orders received during the fourth quarter across key operations such as transportation services and passenger vehicle sales. Despite this boost in revenue, increased personnel costs in the vehicle sales division led to reduced profitability metrics. Consequently, net income per share declined from ¥290 million to ¥33 million.
In light of these developments, Senkon Logistics continues to navigate challenges in maintaining operational efficiency while capitalizing on growth opportunities within its core businesses.
