SBI Shinsei Bank Appoints New Directors for Next Term

TOKYO, May 13 (Pulse News Wire) – SBI Shinsei Bank,limited (8303.T), today announced decisions made during its board meeting regarding candidates for the next term's directors to be presented at the regular shareholders' meeting scheduled for June 22, 2026. The appointments will be finalized upon shareholder approval at the upcoming meeting.

Among the nominees, Kawaishi Katsumasa, currently serving as president and group chief financial officer, is up for reappointment along with external director candidates such as Terazawa Eisuke, a former partner at Miura Law Firm; Takikuchi Yuri Nana, an economic commentator; and Tani Sakki Katsunori, a special advisor at Nippon Institute of Finance. Newly appointed candidates include Fujisaki Kei, who previously served as executive vice president responsible for group strategy, and Okura Masanobu, a former cabinet minister.

Additionally, Satoda Yuujirou, a retired police commissioner, is also nominated. Directors retiring from their positions include Go Hiromitsu and Hatoo Katsumi.
