Sapporo Holdings Sets New Four-Year Business Plan for 2027-2030

– Sapporo Holdings Limited (2501.T) has unveiled its four-year business plan, titled "Mid-Term Management Plan," which was approved during a board meeting held on August 07, 2026. The plan outlines strategic goals aimed at enhancing shareholder value through growth investments and sustainable operations.

Under the new strategy, Sapporo Group will focus on two key areas: "Bonds with Community" and "Healthier Choice." The "Bonds with Community" initiative seeks to strengthen direct emotional connections with customers, particularly in domestic markets, while expanding premium offerings globally. Meanwhile, "Healthier Choice" leverages growing health consciousness to introduce healthier beverage options, targeting long-term customer satisfaction. Financially, the plan sets ambitious targets for Return on Equity (ROE) of over 8.0% by 2030, with a longer-term goal of achieving more than 10.0%.

Additionally, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) growth rate is targeted at over 10.0% annually compared to 2026 plans. Shareholder returns will also increase progressively, aiming for dividend payout ratios of DOE3% or higher by 2030, with total dividends expected to reach approximately ¥80.00 billion. Non-financial objectives include reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 42% in scopes 1 and 2, and by 25% in scope 3, relative to 2022 levels.

Other sustainability goals involve promoting responsible drinking and increasing the ratio of circular economy PET containers to over 50%.
