RISO Kagaku Decides to Repurchase Shares Amid Changing Business Environment
TOKYO, Jul 31 (Pulse News Wire) – Riso Kagaku Corporation (6413.T) announced that during its board meeting held , it resolved to repurchase shares based on Article 165, Paragraph 3 of the Companies Act, which applies provisions similar to those outlined in Article 156. The decision was made to implement flexible capital policies in response to changing business environments and to return value to shareholders.
Under this resolution, the company plans to repurchase up to 660,000 ordinary shares, representing 1.05% of the outstanding shares excluding treasury stock. The total amount allocated for the repurchase is ¥600 million.
Repurchases will take place through open-market purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange from August 21, 2026, until September 18, 2026, on a trade execution basis. As of June 30, 2026, the company had a total of 62,702,384 outstanding shares excluding treasury stock, with 9,297,616 being treasury shares.
