RISE Appoints New Non-Executive Director Effective August 31

TOKYO, Jul 29 (Pulse News Wire) – RISE Inc. (8836.T) announced today that it has resolved to propose the appointment of a new non-executive director at its upcoming extraordinary shareholders' meeting scheduled for August 31, 2026.

The proposed new non-executive director is Mr. Junro Ishimochi, born on March 10, 1969. Ishimochi brings extensive experience in the travel industry, having served in various leadership roles since joining JTB Corporation in April 1991. His career highlights include positions such as General Manager of Kaitianmei (Guangzhou) International Travel Service Co., Ltd., and later at Traffic Corporation Xingqi International Travel Service Co., Ltd.

He also held the position of President at Co-op Travel Co., Ltd. and was a Project Manager at Nara City Local Coop's Mugakusa project. Currently, he serves as the Head of Business Development Department at Kamome Tourist Kabushiki Kaisha and the Head of Business Promotion Department at JTM Holding Kabushiki Kaisha. The changes will take effect upon the conclusion of the extraordinary shareholders' meeting on August 31, 2026.
