Reyuu Japan Acquires Cyber Security Firm, Becomes Subsidiary
TOKYO, Jul 31 (Pulse News Wire) – ReYuu Japan Inc. (9425.T) announced today that it has concluded a share purchase agreement with Next/Security Kabushiki Kaisha, making it a subsidiary effective August 31, 2026.
The acquisition follows a basic agreement signed on July 1, 2026, and was approved by the board . Post-acquisition, ReYuu Japan will hold a majority stake in Next/Security Kabushiki Kaisha. Next/Security Kabushiki Kaisha, headquartered in Tokyo, Minato Ku Akasaka Yon Choume, specializes in cyber security solutions and consulting services. Founded in December 2015, it had total assets of ¥1.05 billion as of March 31, 2026, and reported operating profit of ¥150 million for the same period.
The deal includes a shareholder agreement with Next/Security Kabushiki Kaisha's CEO, Hiroki Yokoi, who holds 29,400 shares. Under this agreement, ReYuu Japan will appoint a majority of directors to ensure control over Next/Security Kabushiki Kaisha's decision-making processes. ReYuu Japan expects the acquisition to enhance its cybersecurity offerings and expand revenue opportunities through synergies with Next/Security Kabushiki Kaisha's expertise. The transaction's impact on ReYuu Japan’s fiscal 2026 October quarter earnings is currently being assessed.
