Renova Reports May Solar and Biomass Power Generation Figures

TOKYO, Jun 22 (Pulse News Wire) – Renova,inc. (9519.T) reported its domestic renewable power generation figures for May.

In May, large-scale solar power generated 35,159,620 kWh, while biomass power produced 221,720,408 kWh. Small-scale and distributed solar power contributed 11,261,328 kWh. Overall, the company's total planned electricity sales for the fiscal year ending March 2027 exceeded expectations, with a cumulative increase of 3.5%. In May, some of RENOVA’s facilities experienced power curtailment due to directives from electric utilities, resulting in lost generation equivalent to 0.37% of their annual planned sales volume.

However, the impact on the company's forecasted consolidated performance for the fiscal year ending March 2027 remains minor. RENOVA incorporates certain risks related to power curtailments and weather conditions into its revenue planning. For June through September, planned electricity sales for large-scale solar power are projected at 44,403,911 kWh, 42,750,744 kWh, 35,849,858 kWh, and 37,440,744 kWh respectively. Biomass and small-scale/distributed solar power figures remain undisclosed.
