Relo Group to Buy Back Up to 1.25 million shares Shares Amid Strategic Capital Policy Adjustments
TOKYO, Aug 06 (Pulse News Wire) – Relo Group,inc. (8876.T) announced today that its board of directors, held on August 06, 2026, approved a share buyback program aimed at enhancing capital efficiency and flexibility in response to changing business environments.
The initiative aligns with the company's mid-term strategy outlined in the “Fourth Olympic Operation” plan, which was disclosed on May 14, 2026. Under the resolution, Relo Group plans to repurchase up to 1.25 million shares shares, representing 0.83% of the outstanding shares excluding treasury stock. The total value of the buybacks will not exceed ¥2.100 billion.
The buyback period will commence on September 01, 2026, and conclude on November 30, 2026. The acquisition will be executed through open-market purchases based on a discretionary trading agreement. As of June 30, 2026, Relo Group had a total of 151,720,325 outstanding shares excluding treasury stock, with 1,295,875 treasury shares held.
Notably, the number of shares held by the employee stock ownership trust J-ESOP, amounting to 16,410, has been excluded from the calculation of treasury shares.
