Realgate Changes Holding Purpose of Property to Sales Asset
TOKYO, Jul 28 (Pulse News Wire) – RealGate Inc. (5532.T) announced today that it has decided to change the holding purpose of its fixed asset, known as OMB North Shibuya, to a sales property through a resolution made at its board meeting held.
The property, located at Tokyo, Shibuya Ku Sendagaya 3-8-7, was previously intended for long-term stable rental income as part of the company's growth strategy. However, due to the need for efficient management of shareholder capital within its business model, RealGate plans to consider potential portfolio adjustments. Following the change in holding purpose, the company intends to explore potential buyers while also considering the possibility of continuing property management contracts post-sale.
Regarding future prospects, the company stated that this change does not impact its performance for the fiscal year ending September 2026. Instead, efforts will focus on identifying suitable buyers with the aim of completing the sale by September 2027. Any developments that could affect the company’s performance will be disclosed promptly.
