Postprime Acquires Online Video Service Portion from AppBank and Welcomes Max Muurai to SNS Platform

– PostPrime Inc. (198A.T) announced that its board of directors approved the acquisition of a portion of online video services operated by AppBank Corp.

(hereinafter referred to as "AppBank") and entered into a service transfer agreement. As part of this acquisition, Masaharu Muurai, a key creator and producer associated with YouTube's "Max Muurai" channel and Niconico's "Max Muurai Club," will join PostPrime’s SNS platform as a creator while continuing his activities on existing channels. This move aims to enhance content diversity and user engagement on PostPrime’s platform, leveraging Muurai’s expertise in creating educational content related to emerging industries such as space technology and quantum computing stocks. PostPrime believes this collaboration will attract new users, foster continuous participation, and create additional revenue opportunities.

The transaction involves an undisclosed price paid in cash using own funds. Financially, the acquired service had revenues of ¥12 million and operating profit of ¥3 million in the fiscal year ended December 2025. The deal does not include ongoing expenses incurred by AppBank prior to the transfer. In addition, PostPrime plans to explore synergies between the newly acquired service and its existing platforms to maximize long-term growth potential.

The company expects the impact on its consolidated performance for the fiscal year ending May 2027 to be minor.
