Perseus Proteomics Announces Positive Phase I Clinical Trial Results for PPMX-T003

TOKYO, Jul 01 (Pulse News Wire) – Perseus Proteomics Inc. (4882.T) reported positive results from a clinical study involving patients who participated in its Phase I clinical trial for PPMX-T003, a treatment for polycythemia vera.

In the trial, four out of six patients experienced a bleeding-free period lasting more than 17 months post-treatment with the drug. Detailed data from the study will be presented at future medical conferences.

The company stated that while there was no immediate impact on the current fiscal performance expectations, the long-term benefits of this research could contribute positively to the company's value through ongoing business development efforts. The clinical study, titled “PPMX-T003-CT102: Exploratory Study of Pharmacodynamic Effects and Laboratory Test Values,” was led by Professor Ryosuke Ito from the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Osaka University Hospital.
