Oi Electric reports 12.6% revenue growth in fiscal 2026

TOKYO, May 15 (Pulse News Wire) – Oi Electric CO.,LTD. (6822.T) reported a 12.6% increase in revenue for the fiscal year ended March 2026, reaching ¥114 billion compared to ¥101.4 billion in the previous fiscal year.

Operating profit surged by 19.4%, climbing to ¥872 million from ¥725 million. The company attributed the revenue growth primarily to increased sales in its IoT-related device business, particularly the second-generation smart meter market.

However, operating expenses rose due to higher research and development costs in emerging sectors. Despite a decline in some segments, such as communication line construction and maintenance services, overall profitability improved significantly.

For the next fiscal year ending March 2027, Oi Electric forecasts revenue to grow further but expects net income to decrease slightly due to rising production costs and investment in capacity expansion.
