TOKYO, Jul 27 (Pulse News Wire) – OBAYASHI CORPORATION (1802.T) announced the passing of audit committee member Yoshihiro Ueda on July 24, 2026, who subsequently resigned from his position effective the same day. The company expresses deep gratitude for Mr.

Ueda's contributions and formally reports his departure. Ueda served as a non-executive auditor since joining the board.

His resignation follows his death on July 24, 2026. With his departure, the company now has four auditors, two of whom are external members as defined by Article 2, Paragraph 16 of the Companies Act.
