TOKYO, Aug 07 (Pulse News Wire) – Nxera Pharma CO.,LTD. (4565.T) reported robust second quarter results for the fiscal year ending December 2026.
Revenue increased by ¥3.815 billion compared to the same period last year, reaching ¥18.91 billion. The company achieved eight milestones during the quarter, contributing significantly to revenue growth. Operating profit was ¥1.881 billion compared to a loss of ¥2.756 billion in the previous year's corresponding period.
In key developments, Nxera secured regulatory approvals for its insomnia drug QUVIVIQ® in Taiwan and made progress on clinical trials for various drugs targeting neurological disorders. Notably, the company reached two development milestones with Eli Lilly and Company and four with AbbVie Inc., receiving payments totaling $20 million and $4.8 million, respectively. Additionally, Nxera completed a partnership agreement with Centessa Pharmaceuticals Limited, which was acquired by Lilly in June 2026.
