Nittan Corp Raises FY27 Mid-Year Forecast Amid Strong Sales, Efficiency Gains
TOKYO, Aug 03 (Pulse News Wire) – Nittan Corporation (6493.T) revised its forecast for the six months ending September 30, 2026, citing robust sales growth and operational efficiency improvements. The company now expects revenue of ¥28.60 billion, operating profit of ¥2.100 billion, ordinary profit of ¥1.900 billion, and net income attributable to shareholders of ¥1.050 billion per share, up from previous estimates of ¥25.80 billion, ¥1.700 billion, ¥1.600 billion, and ¥650 million respectively.
The revision reflects strong performance in North America and Japan, along with increased sales of high-value products such as hollow valves and improved production efficiencies. Additionally, favorable exchange rates contributed positively to earnings. The integration of Korean subsidiary Shinwa Precision Co., Ltd., which was initially scheduled for the third quarter but moved forward to the second quarter, also boosted projections.
Despite these positive factors, Nittan maintained its full-year fiscal 2027 outlook due to uncertainties surrounding US tariff policies, geopolitical risks in the Middle East, and foreign exchange trends. Dividend expectations remain unchanged from the previous forecast. The updated figures represent increases of 10.9%, 23.5%, 18.8%, and 61.5% compared to earlier forecasts.
Notably, the prior mid-year results showed revenues of ¥24.44 billion, operating profit of ¥1.725 billion, ordinary profit of ¥1.855 billion, and net income of ¥1.380 billion.
