Nitta Corp Raises FY27 H1 Revenue Outlook Amid Strong Semiconductor Demand
TOKYO, Aug 07 (Pulse News Wire) – Nitta Corporation (5186.T) revised upward its fiscal 2027 first half and full-year consolidated earnings forecasts due to robust demand for high-value semiconductor manufacturing equipment products. For the six months ending September 30, 2026, the company now expects revenue of ¥48.00 billion, up 4.3% from its previous estimate of ¥46.00 billion.
Operating profit is forecast at ¥4 billion, representing a 33.3% increase from the prior guidance of ¥3 billion. Similarly, net income attributable to shareholders is projected at ¥7.500 billion, marking a 29.3% rise from the earlier projection of ¥5.800 billion. Looking ahead to the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, Nitta raised its sales outlook to ¥96.00 billion, a 2.1% improvement from the initial forecast of ¥94.00 billion.
The firm also anticipates operating profit of ¥8 billion, a significant 29.0% jump from the previously stated figure of ¥6.200 billion. Net income per share is expected to reach ¥543.8 million, reflecting a 22.0% growth compared to the prior guidance of ¥445.9 million. The revisions come amid strong performance across the semiconductor industry, driving higher-than-expected demand for Nitta's specialized products.
