Nipro to Report Special Gain From Atanar Sale to VAT Holding AG

TOKYO, Jul 29 (Pulse News Wire) – Nipro Corporation (8086.T) announced plans to sell its shares in Atanar Co., Ltd. due to Atanar's agreement to be acquired by VAT Holding AG.

As a result, Nipro expects to record a special gain from the sale of approximately ¥3.900 billion. The sale of non-listed securities held by Nipro in Atanar is scheduled to take place sometime between August and October 2026.

The final amount could fluctuate based on adjustments made during the closing process. Looking ahead, Nipro anticipates recognizing this special gain in the fiscal year ending March 2027.
